Some of these things have been requested again and again over the past months and we don't know any more about their status now than before.
Plus, the list gets overwhelming and everything gets a little a attention while nothing seems to get focused attention.
There is another thread here with many suggestions that ASA has indicated he/she will pass along to Google. But we've been there done that many times already. Sometimes the frustration of not knowing what is happening so you can plan accordingly is worse than not having the requested feature.
Here's my proposal:
Someone start a thread and request ONE new feature or improvement. (Start with something that a lot of people seem to want - more channels, larger filter or whatever).
Explain why you want the new feature and/or the problem you're hoping to solve with the new feature. (It's possible Google may be able to resolve the problem with some solution other than the one you suggest)
Everyone who wants that new feature can chime in with a "Me Too" post to let Google know how much interest exists for this feature. Don't muddy the water by throwing in another request, just voice your support of the current request.
Then ASA can acknowledge the thread and pass along the request to the appropriate people at Google. Within 30 days of the start of the thread, ASA can give us a status report from one of these two options:
1. The request is acknowledged and Google is working on a solution
2. The request is acknowledged but there are no plans to address it in the near future.
Any additional details such as a time frame, why a feature will or will not be implemented, etc. would be nice, but even if all we get is 1 or 2 above, at least we'll know where things stand.
The responses will sometimes disappoint some people, but at least people will know not to be hoping for something that's not going to happen.
Once we've received the response from ASA, someone can start a new thread on the next issue and we'll focus on it until that response is received from ASA.
Based on the prior thread here where a lot of people provided their age, this group is mature and wise enough to show some patience and wisdom and focus on one thing until we get an answer - even if it's not the answer we want.
Otherwise, it's going to be 2009 and we're still going to be wondering if we're ever going to get these same problems resolved.
If you agree with my proposal say so and we'll see if ASA is willing to give it a shot.
Thanks,
FarmBoy
I say make one complete list is better, you read all the ones posted before you, copy the list and add your new request to the bottom like we always did before..
One definition of insanity is doing the same thing again and again and expecting different results. We've made lists many times before and for most of the items, we still don't know whether they are being considered or have been dismissed.
We'll see what others have to say as they find this thread, most might agree with your approach and reject mine or vice versa. Let's wait and see.

You know what they say about doing the same old thing over and over expecting different results.
ASA should be able to find all our wish threads if she can Google
Is there anyway to set up a poll on this board? A number of issues could be listed - you'd absolutely need a good filter, based on login, so each member could only vote once - and then start with the issue getting the most votes.
And you can be sure there would be posters who thought their issue was important enough to take the thread off topic. Who'd police that?
I think it's better using the combined thread, cumbersome as it may be.
And seeing the same thing mentioned time after time after time might emphasize how strongly publishers feel about an issue.
I think the idea of one thing at a time is good. The problem is deciding which idea to start with.
The priority order isn't a big deal to me personally. Our priority list isn't going to dictate a priority list to Google. The important thing to me is to start somewhere.
If you want, we can use this thread to pick a starting point.
We know from another thread that a larger filter isn't coming anytime soon so let's consider that one off the table for now.
Everyone who responds and wants to take this approach can "vote" for ONE thing and whatever has the most support by the end of Friday of this week will be where we can start. (Assuming ASA goes along with this)
More channels seems like a popular feature request. So I'll start by casting one vote for "more channels" as the first thing to focus on.

However, I can't guarantee that I will be able to update you on when and if we will be able to implement specific ideas. Our engineers and product managers definitely try their best to prioritize issues you request, but they also take other factors into account when putting together our product roadmap. To get as much done as possible, they weigh the available options and sometimes need to re-allocate resources for new features. Sometimes a change that seems very simple actually requires significant engineering resources, so they have to hold off. At other times, they look into alternative solutions to reach the same end results.
I am happy to keep collecting your ideas and pushing for them though.
