I am still fighting with AdSense to get some money out of it. As all good college students, I need money for beer.

Anyways, back to serious topics. On Sept 1st, I get same number of impressions as always, same number of low CTR (0.6%) but the CPM is way up through the roof at 1.42$ compared to 0.26 the day before and 0.37 the day after.

I am in a very low cost keywords niche (which I think explains the low CPM) and the ads are often not well targeted (thus low CTR).

I used AdWord for a while, and our key word was going for 0.05$ a click, aka, no one wants it :(

So what happened on the 1st? Did anybody else see something similar?

I didn't update content, nor did the ads change (or at least I didn't notice them changing)

PS: I am getting Ads by Gooooooogle today, its finally my turn.

If you don't have 100000+ impressions a day, one or two clicks with VERY GOOD EPC will make that happen.

that's what I am suspecting also. But because the channel data is delayed, I don't know where that click came from. I think it might be from the message board, which has very diverse ads, where as the article ads are always the same and people have been clicking them for a while
