... will give more adsense earning? Is this statement true?

I wouldn't assume that. But more page views per visitor indicates people are not just taking a glance at your site and leaving. I think if more people are looking around then more people will return to your site, link to it and tell others about it. So in the long run more page visits will help.

Could not more page views also be an indicator of a disorganised site or a site with poor navigation?

Traditionally high pageviews per visitors is seen as a good thing and should translate into more earnings, but really it totally depends on the specific site.

More page views on the site they go to, yes. I have no doubt this is factored in. They click an ad on your site, go to another site, spend 20 minutes and 15 page views. This click is going to be a better click than someone who checks out the landing page and then leaves. Intent upon arrival. This definitely counts.

More page views on your site? I doubt google cares at all.

It could. It could also mean a one page article broken down into 15 different pages, which a very large and very popular website which I'm prohibited from mentioning does as a matter of practice. Obviously, they're keeping the ads above the fold because there is no fold to contend with.

More page views on your site simply means more opportunity for your visitor to come in contact with an ad that interests them. So yes, more potential revenue in that sense but as to whether or not adsense rewards sites with large numbers of page views.... I doubt very seriously if that number factors in anywhere at all.

...as to whether or not adsense rewards sites with large numbers of page views....

Indirectly they do. When an AdWords advertiser is viewing a list of potential sites to choose site targetting, the main distinction between the sites is the number of page views. The lowest category is 0-10,000 pv/d, next is 10,000 to 100,000 and so on. So the "reward" for more page views in this case is a higher profile on the list.

Whether or not they reward directly - for example higher eCPM for sites with higher page views - I agree they probably don't do that. But it's a question I'd like to see answered nonetheless.

Mathematically it makes sense. The more pages the user visits the higher the chances that they will see an ad that appeals to them and click on it. Keep in mind that adsense rotates ads so even if all pages are in the same content category, having more pageviews increases the chances that an appealing ads will be served...
