Clicks But No Revenue

I have dozens of clicks on ads on a daily basis but no money.

I receive a dozen or so clicks on small site which generates zero revenue. Admittedly, it's not a lucrative ad market for that particular site, but not even $0.01 from dozens of clicks?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Are they placement ads? If so, they are not CPC but CPM.

G says we get paid the same average. I don't buy it. I see placement ads come and go frequently, thus avoiding enough page views to result in any significant payout.

Given the ability I would opt out of the placement ads entirely.

I've excluded a few sites from the list of allowed advertisers. So I'll wait to see if anything changes.

I believe you may be right though, since the couple of sites that I excluded were large shopping and coupon sites.

I don't see how it could be due to CPM ads if you're not making a penny in revenue. After all, they do pay, just not on a per-click basis.

The last time I recall this coming up, the publisher was using the "allowed sites" feature and had forgotten to add the site in question.
