Hello everybody.

do i get money if people click the links in my blog? For instance, i am having a video on youtube and provide the link to the video in the blog. So people click this link to go to youtube, when this happens will i get any money for the click on my blog.

Do i need to take any permission from the actual site to use it's url in my blog?

Can someone please answer this question. thankyou

If you want to get money for sending traffic to someone, you need a specific agreement for that. It could be an agreement with a network such as Adsense, or it could be with an individual company. Or some of each. The other party will supply specially coded links to track the traffic you send them.

For example, if your blog was about widgets and you had lots of readers interested in widgets, someone who manufactures widgets might think your blog was a good place to promote their company.

Because of fraud, individual companies are less likely than they used to be to just pay per click. These days it's more common to have agreements where you'd get paid a commission or flat fee when the visitor you sent actually did something the company wanted. That could be buying something, signing up for their newsletter, and so on.

If you send visitors that just look around a bit then leave, there's not much money to be made. But if you're good at sending really well targeted traffic, such arrangements can profitable for both parties.

The short answer is: no, you don't get paid for that.
