1) Oh no, my site is being attacked by click fraud, I hope I don't get banned;
2) Should I send Google a note saying something strange is going on: 'Today the CTR is too high but I don't know why';
3) Let me check my site to see if there's something wrong with it or if there's a new advertiser with ads that will get extreme clicks;
4) Wait, Google's messed up stats before, and sometimes they lag;
5) Let me check Webmaster World to see if anyone else is seeing the same thing; and,
6) Ah, panic over. It's just another Googleplex Brainfart.

I am doing business with Google, moving tens of thousands of dollars a month. I do not care if it's peanuts for them, but I get a better treatment/customer service from ATT for my home DSL contract, where the typical amounts in question are $70/mo.
Google is becoming one of the worst monopolies out there, the "do not do evil" was just for the first few years while the owners were becoming billionaires, now they just do not care.
