What do you make of this new reporting scheme? Why was it changed? I'm seeing this notice for daily stats on the full channels report. It's not as if it's the response for all channels for five years, i.e., no great load on the servers.
"... refresh automatically every few seconds until your report is ready" sounds rather odd, like, "there's a bug here, which doesn't work all the time, so we'll keep trying, because we can't get it right the first time."
I just don't know what they are trying to accomplish with this change, and any change they attempt for stats reporting makes me nervous!

I guess they are trying to cut costs and streamline.
It's more likely that they're simply trying to keep up with a growing number of publishers, pages, and clicks. 4Q 2007 network revenues were up 12% over 3Q 2007 and 37% over the same quarter in 2006.
I don't like the new reports. In the old report shown by channel, you could click on a channel to see that channel only, then easily change the reporting date and regenerate the report, ie., I have a preset report called "Today" which is all url channels by channel for today. In that report, I could easily click on one of the channels, change the reporting date to "This month" and regenerate, to compare that url channel's trends over the month.
Can't do that anymore. The channels are no longer links. Now, I have to deselect all the channels but one in that upper table before I can regenerate from all channels daily to one channel monthly.
