All of my ad units have a channel, so I can track how each unit does as a whole. (A great feature - lets me see best format and layout for ads) I also entered all my urls as channels.

What I'd like to be able to do is track which ad unit on which url is bringing in money, but that isn't happening. For example, on a given day I might see

adunit1 - $5
adunit2 - $3
adunit3 - $4
---------
url1 - .55
url2 - .75
-------
total - $12

The ad units ad up to the total, but I'm confused about what the url info means. Does it mean those are the url's where the ad was clicked? And if so, shouldn't they add up to the total too when I look at just url's? (There aren't any ad units on those pages other than the ones that have channels associated with them)

Have I done it right? And is there any way to track how an ad unit does on a given page, other than creating a separate ad unit with different code for every single page?

Thanks!

Here's a guess - your URL channels could be skewed by people finding your site through an images search, and they're clicking your ads while your site is still in the images.google.com frame. In that case, the ad unit channel would show the revenue, while the URL channel would not.

It might be more accurate if you give each page its own channel rather than rely on URL. So each ad on your page would have two channesls - one for the page, and another for the ad unit. If you have more than one ad unit of the same size per page, then it would be equally useful to add a third channel that tells you the position (i.e., top, left, right, bottom, etc)
