A friend called me today. He got his Adsense account disabled. He forwarded me the email.....It does NOT say anything about invalid clicks in the email but it does state that the account poses a "significant" risk to advertisers. It doesn't say if he will be paid or not but does give a link to the Disabled Account FAQ. In there it says accounts with invalid clicks will not be paid.

His email doesn't say anything about invalid clicks.

Do you think he will get his last payment? From my research on the board here usualy these emails say something like you have invalid clicks and money is being returned to the advertisers.....

What do you think?

I doubt he will be paid but I guess he will have to wait and see

Nope, he will NOT get paid. Google does that all the time, have heard some real horror stories on that. I definitely wouldn't be checking the mailbox for sure if I were him.

Sometimes they do send the final check, sometimes they don't. If you're soliciting guesses, I'll wager that they will pay, but the best thing is to wait a couple of weeks and find out.

How many websites did he have AdSense on?

If just one, I side with jomaxx that he will get paid. The account may have been closed because the site didn't meet AdSense standards.

If he was using multiple sites then he will probably not get paid. AdSense may have thought he violated their TOS.

If it is the first situation he may be able to sign up with a different website.

Since you are likely familiar with his site, do you see anything that you think poses a significant risk to advertisers? How long has he been in the AdSense program?

Looking over the site he may have been pretty aggresive putting two ad blocks above the fold.....but didn't Adsense just say on their blog....put more ads about the fold.

I really don't see any big issues on the page.

I'll have him let me know if he gets paid or not.....

What CTR?

Since his account is disabled, no problem to talk about it

He didn't kindly educate users about the importance of clicking ads? "Don't forget to take a look at the sites linked above" "For more useful sites, click below" "These ads help pay our bills" etc...
