I am thinking of allowing visitors to post comments/replies to the articles on my site, and having the comments displayed automatically bellow the articles.

I will obviously do filtering and remove un-fit posts (coarse language, insults, etc)

I am wondering though if it will have some impact on the adsense ads? Can the media bot get confused and misunderstabd the topic/keyword of the article and give irrelevant ads? Or can I safelly assume that the comments should logically be close in topic to the article and thus not confuse the adsense ads served?

Is your material related to current events, or is it material you expect to interest people over a period of months or years? If it is the former, it may not much matter if the mediabot changes the ads on its next visit to your site. If it is the latter, you should expect that a guest will type an occasional "stop word" by accident, or that certain keyword densities will be reached, and you will end up with PSA's or irrelevant ads on some pages.

My material is more for geared towards long term impact, so I guess I will have to come up with something. Maybe just display 2-3 comments (the latest ones) and have another page with the older comments archived.
