I have a page on a particular subject, and optimized the page perfectly.

I am receiving a 43.47 eCPM and 18.75 CTR.

Just wanted to share for those of you who are "giving up" on Google, and saying you can't earn money with them anymore.

Make sure your pages are optimized, targeted, and on topic.

This is honestly not much proof of anything. I have several pages that get sadly a low number of visitors and have 60 dollars OUT OF A THOUSAND visits estimated. Sadly not making much. Google is not the way to make money.

Google is a place to learn SEO and make people who naturally purchase ads pay you instead.

I agree. I have a page that today has achieved a 100% CTR and an eCPM of about 6 times the 43.47 figure. But that's really not sufficient information to draw conclusions. The page has only generated 2 clicks today.

I also have pages with a much lower eCPM that pulls down the average. I could pull AdSense off those pages so the average eCPM will rise, but what have I accomplished?
