Well as said, im new to this and i would need some help

The questions are about ad placemant, what i can do to improve and other stuff.

Also to other people like me:
We can exchange ideas, help each other out, So you can also contact me.

Sorry for making it like this, But when i read everything in here, My head starts spinning, English is not my mother language and i would need some translation on the words and abbreviations. I have written all this by myself and not to worry that im some dude who cant understand **it. :)

Thanks for any help.

Zamo,

There are others out there who likely have the same questions as you. Why not post your questions in this thread for all to see? You could have your questions answered for free here. There probably aren't too many people willing to talk on the phone or chat for hours at no charge.

I never said i would talk for hours, Just few questions through mail or msn, with someone who got some experience.
And so i can contact them in future probably.

The reason why i dont ask my questions here, Is because i need help with the banner ad, And i dont feel like stating my page in this thread.

Im not trying to be a special person, But i dont feel like posting on forums for every little thing i need help with.
When your like me, Its mostly the small things as in this case(Is the banner added right, How can i get members to my page, Should i make changes on the site...).
There are already many threads that can help me with this, But with someone who i can send a mail/or message at msn would feel alot more comfortable.

And about the charge as you mentioned, I can gladly pay, Not in money tho, Since the questions i ask and the time you will be spending with me aint that much, So it would be 10 dollars/Month?, So if there is something i can do in return i will gladly do it.

You can always add a link to your main website via your profile, and this will allow us to check out your website and see if there is anything we can help you improve on.

Also, you mentioned questions like "how to get members to my pages," etc...which I am inferring refers to attracting more visitors to your websites? Or are you maybe talking about attracting more people to JOIN your site? Like a message forum or newsletter? or CMS? Questions like this can be searched for on the forums as well.

Speaking from an underdogs position, I can say honestly that this website has been my lifeline to the outside "webmaster" world. It has helped me so much over the past year that I don't know what I would do without it! I have learned, and grown, and become a much better webmaster just by reading other posts, asking questions, etc...

And there is one HUGE disadvantage I found with using an Instant Messenger with one webmaster: You are only getting one opinion and view out of the millions of webmasters that are out there. If you post a well thought out question here on the boards, there will be many webmasters that will donate their time and efforts to help you in the best of their abilities.

Hope this helps!

P.S. When I first started web design couple of years ago, I thought I needed a mentor through Instant Messenger as well; but learned that forums are the easiest and most efficient way to obtain information.

Another advantage to forums is that there is often more than one way to do something. Forums allow users to discuss (argue? :) ) the pros and cons of each method and allow you to chose the one that works best for you.

I am running a forum/news page for now, I have tried of thinking ideas to develop it to something to attract more members, But since its only been up for 3-4 days now i would like someone to talk to about all the things on it and maybe future things.
In questions such as my AdSense banner thing it is way easier to use Msn and maybe get to know this person who is an older webmaster then me and would like to help with such questions.
I would not like to put my webpage location here as i would not like too get in conflict with google.(Yeah im a bit scared of consequenses, even if you guys say there is nothing to be worried about).

Thanks for answers.
