Hi all,
I have this weird problem in that I have started a small site that I intend to grow daily as a decent content site which will earn revenue from AdSense. This site is very well targeted, has excellent keyword density and all the correct SEO components. The problem is, when I put a Video Unit on it, the AdSense ads all of a sudden became about watches and watching videos.

The neither word 'watch' nor the word 'video' appear anywhere on the site, but was originally in the YouTube AdSense code in the form of a URL which is apparently shown if the video didn't display (link text is "Watch the latest videos on YouTube.com"). The video player was keyworded to play stuff that my site was about and seemed to be working fine.

I changed the URL text... nothing. I deleted the video entirely... nothing. My site is about credit and all my ads are about movies and YouTube and has been this way for two days. I have enclosed my meta description with the <!-- google_ad_section_start --><!-- google_ad_section_end --> tags but my ads are still not relevant. Any ideas?

I have a a similar observation with the AdSense Referral text link ads - Firefox, Google Pack, AdWords, etc. - that have been on my site for quite some months.

Since a few days ago, the normally "static" text link ads seem to have started serving varing texts! Rather than "Get Firefox with Google ToolBar" it now says "Free calls to Anywhere - Try it now! Learn the free calls secret" (my site is telecommunications related) or even "Meet Chinese ladies for love and marriage"!

This seems to happen intermittently - doing a page refresh (forced with SHIFT-<F5>) changes the texts displayed ... I am very concerned, as these rogue links are discrediting my site!

Help!

Ohh, its getting worse:

Now I see "Date Asian Girls" on the Google referral text link ad instead of "Get Firefox with Google Toolbar" ...

WHAT is going on?
