Ads Disapeared But Not Banned... I hope

Hi,
Twenty four hours ago my adds stopped displaying on a site that was doing really well with Google adsense.

I have another site experiencing no problems, so I assume there is no account wide ban.

My question is ...are there any server maintenance routines or general server side problems that can cause this to happen? (I am not very technically aware)

Oh, one more thing. A friend uploaded his adsense code on my homepage as a test, his adds didn't show either.

Thanks

No, you aren't banned, but you had better e-mail Adsense ASAP! I had that happen once (e-mailed Google) and Google said they tried to e-mail me to fix something...so they said the ads we being stopped until certain things were fixed. On my forum I used to have member names rewritten to their name and one made a really bad name...the member HAD been banned, but the page would still show up in the memberlist with Google Ads on it. It WAS my fault and now I hide my memberlist, etc. I told them all was fixed, they said great and turned them right back on. Don't wait too long! Make sure you aren't doing something wrong on that site like saying visit our sponsors, etc., etc...

Thanks WiseWebDude,

I emailed google 24 hours ago. no reply.

I checked that my email address was up to date by triggering an auto email from within the bank details section of the control panel.

The site is home and garden themed so I don't think content would provoke this action

Good, yea I think it took them about 24 hours or so to reply back to me as well. I can't remember now. But, I would go through your site and make sure your not putting images by the ads, saying visit our sponsors, or anything else against TOS. They must have found something somewhere on your site that they want fixed is my bet. GL!

I heard that Google usually contacted people for minor TOS infringements, that's why I thought technical issues might be to blame.

Yea, that's weird that they didn't contact you. The reason I didn't see my e-mail from them was it was in my Gmail account which I RALREY use. I looked in there and sure enough there they were. They DID try and contact me for sure. It was my fault. What's weird is your friend's code not showing ads on your site as well...that is a STRONG indication to me right there...maybe it's flagged and they just haven't had a human look at it yet? Could be.
