Reducing Accidental Clicks

Has anyone noticed this yet? Google announced this month they are changing the click area on ads to reduce accidental clicks.

Previously, clicking on ads around the border and white space would go through. Now you have to click directly on the ad title and URL. This change may reduce the overall click rates on sites.
