I didn't imagine this; it really happened

I loaded one of my pages, and below the large rectangle block, there was a link saying "show more" right beside the "Ads by Google" brand.

I clicked on it to see more, and indeed I came to a page showing... a large rectangle ad block. the domin was googlesyndication.com

it was only there one time. subsequent page views didn't have the "show more" link.

witnessed at approx 1:20pm today

httpwebwitch - The ad formats team is testing a variety of ad formats that include some form of a 'Show more' feature like the one you saw. Because it's only a test, it won't appear on all ad units, which is why it was gone when you returned to the page.

We always welcome your feedback on these and other ad format tests!

Hope that clears things up,

Hi ASA
I would like to be able to alter the colors on link units. Not the first set of links, but the page where the adverts appear. By doing so, I feel it will generate more income for us because those pages will then look like part of the site. Unless of course, your site uses white <G>

I too have seen those show more links on my site and I welcome them.
Thank you.

As I do not use adlinks and keep my adblocks to a minimum, I would like to be able to opt out of this.
