multiple adds on a webpage

I been hearing rumors about multiple adsense adds here and there.

For me it will be great if I could have 2 or even 3 separated small boxes arround the text of my website.Any ideas of when this will become available?

AFAIK, you will not be able to place more than one Google ad in the same page at the same time. What will happen is that you will be able to place their ad tags but only one will show in that page. The other will show defaults.

There are some beta testers who are testing multiple ad units now. So it could be something that will be available to all publishers sometime in the future.
