Did a quick search but couldnt find a definative answer, so i need help!

Can i use ajax to reload my adverts after a set period of time if the user is in an ajax aplication, or when the user clicks a button or link (e.g. it would be a page realod but because we are in ajax its not, can i force a reload then)?
