i'm not really a newbie i've been a publisher for almost 1.5 years but I was always "happy" with my ad blending on my webpage.

a few days ago i had a discussion here with respect to my low ctr (around 2%) and i got advised to try different ad colors

I did that for different channels and I was surprised to noticed that some channels (link ads in my case) CTR when from 2% to 5% when on others CTR dropped from 2% to 0.78%

sorry if this thread is not useful just sharing my experience. I think we all need to know our sites and how OUR readers reacts to adsense colors/blends that's the only way to make more money

thank you all

sorry if this thread is not useful

But it is useful! Because it points out the need to try different approaches out on our own sites to see how they perform for us.

It's really true that what works great on one site can be a disaster on another site. And as your experience shows, results can even be good and bad with[in the same site!

The only way to know is to try the different options.

Thanks for coming back and sharing your results, that helps everyone.

Try the testing for longer periods of time now. The more experience you have, the more you can discount some of the other variables that may have impacted your CTR.
