They look younger than I expected... and more approachable.

If this is the full Adsense team, you can understand why it is difficult to get email replies. They just don't have many staff for the thousands of publishers.

I think that there are other Adsense teams outside Mountain View. However, I wonder if this group includes engineers as well as publisher service staff

From Google Announces Third Quarter 2007 Results [google.com]:

On a worldwide basis, Google employed 15,916 full-time employees as of September 30, 2007, up from 13,786 full time employees as of June 30, 2007.

I don't know how many of them work in AdSense.
