Adsense and over 40

A little while ago I had my 40st birthday. And I wondered for a moment if a guy with my age should continue to make cash by putting Adsense on webpages.

Now some of you folks are "old friends" in more than one way. But in respect of the age thing: Give me your numbers please. What is the age of the Adsenser? Who thinks he or she is the youngest or perhaps the oldest Adsenser?

And Ann, I know that these numbers don't matter so much for the lucky ones who feel 20 years young regardless of their age...

Well I'm only 64 but the guy who writes the content for my site is 83. He is still a fast writer and can do a 100 page book in 2 weeks. These are all science reference type books as well.

I'm 62 and still very active.

Just got remarried for the 3rd time two weeks ago.

I still run my two vacation properties in addition to managing the websites where I have my AdSense.

Nevertheless, I don't find any relationship between age and AS.

And how would you anyway? Find a relationship? You've taken polls perhaps?

Looks to me like there's a distict relationship, judging by posters to this thread anyway....

hmmmm "senile dementia" hmmmm

Just another way to say old and out of your mind. :)

Good going webwork, been there and done that, (I think), lol

I used to think forgetfulness was for the old but I have a better memory than some I know that is only half my ahem years.

Correction:
Given the average age so far, I'm trading the GoogleTopia island Internet access business for the island's local clinic, much better business!

I admit I'm surprised, the average here is much higher than I would have thought, not that I have thought about it very much.

I feel so young at 35

if I'm coming to do police work Hobbs then I can take care of the nurses as I am related to a fair number. ;)

Maybe because of the title "Adsense and over 40" it's possible that, simply, members over 40 are more inclined to read and post on this thread... Who knows, counting all forum members, perhaps the average age would be something like 30 or 40, for example. Well, Internet polls are usually not much representative.

Anyhow, I see good advice on this forum more often than on some others with a more juvenile atmosphere... ;)

Wooohoooo! I'm 53 and finally above average at something!

I've had one small website for about ten years and wouldn't give it up for the world. Along with the Adsense money, I've made some great professional contacts and friends through it.

Blimey!

I think I am the youngest so far at the tender age of 20!

I feel so young after reading 4 pages!

At 41 I have been with adsense since Sept 2003 (4 years 1 month and 7 days)

The Big G kicked me out yesterday.

So I guess I am no longer a member of the adsense crowd. It was fun while it lasted.

I dont think I will spend to much time in this forum, but I will now spend alot more time in the domain name forum.

Look out Webwork here I come!

Bye all

P.S. I look younger than my 29 year old wife.

I'm 24 and I didn't reach my $1,000/mo AdSense milestone yet, Grr :)

Its good to see some people here are 40-60, I always wondered if I could do this at 60 :)

TropicalIsland, you must be earning alot form AdSense :)
I am sure you got one of those brand-new-19-years-old wifes :)

31...

And while I may be "below average" in age wrt folks in this forum, I am happy to say that I am well above average when it comes to earnings ;)

I'm 75% grey, which is quite premature, but if you were ever to meet my parents you'd know why! A few days ago, I had three kids under age three, so for a while there, I felt like old man Winter.

It'll be nice to meet some of you fine folks at future Pubcons.

I'm 43, and up until a few months ago, feeling 50.

But I am newly pregnant with my first post-Adsense baby and feeling quite young all over again. :-)

Have to re-learn how to type while breastfeeding... I think I used to remember... it has been about 6 years since last baby!
