First time I've experienced the new referral 'validation'.

When I checked todays referral conversions, I noticed that I was only receiving half the amount the referral states. So I can only assume this is part of googles new 'validation period'. It would be interesting to know how long this lasts and whether we'll be paid the full amount once we've passed.

I've submitted these questions to Google, hopefully we'll get an answer.

My traffic is targeted and the referrals I chose are very relevant (when the correct ones show) and thus my conversions are particularly high. I wonder if this is why I'm now under 'screening'.

I must admit, even though I know I've not done anything at all wrong, I'm still quite nervous, knowing how Google just flips the off switch in a whim.

I've had my fair share of issues with referrals, I hope they're ironed out and I can just leave everything to run smoothly in the background.

Anybody else noticed lower earnings for referrals, than those specified?

Just an update: Today everything is back to normal.

Does this mean the validation period of 24 hours? or perhaps it's different for different accounts or different referrals.

Glad it's back to normal anyway.
