I just want to share this : I have removed my Adsense Code for almost 4 months because I only have an average earnings of $0.03 per click.

On October 19, I decided to put back Adsense, and I was surprise to see that I now average $1.61 / click

Unfortunately that $1.61 won't stay up there when that grim smartpricing breaths it's frosty breath on you again.

Losing 3 cents per click for 4 months at a time might add up to way more than earning a day or two of $1.61 per click.

You will likely see in a few days a significant drop. Then will you choose to remove the AdSense code again?

I know I wouldn't. I would rather have a steady cash flow rather than a couple of good days every 4 months with no earnings in between.

I was thinking the same thing, but you never know. Anyway, if the current windfall lasts even a week then the OP comes out way ahead.

I suspect the bottom line of the OP is pretty low to undertake such an experiment for 4 months. I find it hard to believe that anyone would remove ads on sites that were generating hundreds/thousands of dollars a month.

I choose to ride the wave and use the lows as an incentive to learn and to add more good content. I can't bare the thought of removing ads from pages or sites that get low paying clicks, because even at 0.03/click that still adds up to $3 for 100 clicks, $30 for 100 clicks, and $3000 for 1000 clicks.... you get the idea.

When the wave is high... I have to admit that its awsome! But when the wave is low.... well it still pays the rent.

Isn't the bottom line what is most important?
