Hello, I think that AdSense pays for impressions too.
Does anyone knows how much, is it around $1 per 1000 impressions or is it lower?
Because I have a site with 30 000 ad* impressions per day, should I add a large image banner on that site, will this generate about $30 a day just for impressions?

Now I only have text ads and with 30 K impressions per day I only make under $5/day. Click rate under 0.5%

Any expert advices?

Thanks.
- Adrian.

For CPM ads, the advertiser minimum is .25 per 1000 impression. Whether or not you get more than depends on a whole bunch of things, like the niche, the competition, smart pricing, etc. Image ads don't bring in more CPM revenue than text.

netmeg, so in your opinion is petter to leave both image and text enabled and let google decide what is best to show, right?!
I was not sure and I do not want to place a big image banner in the site just to test.

If you think the image banner doesn't look right on your site, then set that block to text only.

You're the only one who can decide the priority.
