Site Targeting Ads Showing in AdLinks: Overflow?

What's the proper response?

I've occasionally noticed that in some of my AdLinks channels I'll sometimes see site targeted ad stats listed, so in my AdSense stats it looks something like....

Channel ¦ Targeting ¦ etc
--------------------
AdLinks ¦ contextual ¦
AdLinks ¦ site ¦

I'm guessing that happens when there are more ads targeting a site or page than the ad spots available in the regular ad blocks on the page.

If that's correct it raises the question of what is the proper response...

1: Take the Adlinks units off the page and see if it raises the total page earnings by making the targeted ads bid higher to be seen

2: Add more adblocks to the page to let all targeted ads appear on the page itself instead of being shuffled off to the AdLinks page.

3: Do nothing, it's not worth the bother, spend the time building "quality content". :)

Any thoughts?
Anyone else seen this?

No one else has seen this?
I didn't explain it clearly enough?
No thoughts or opinions?

Sorry Ken, can't help you,
I have CPM turned off so I no longer see site targeted stats. I also never use adlinks.

Same here.
I don't use adlinks and have turned off site targeting.
