i relised on the 23rd that my adress details were wrong! my payment was approved on the 20th so can i get them to cancel my current cheque?

Did you send AdSense support an email as well as changing the address in your account? There may be time for them to process the address change before they mail them, but you should probably confirm with them, incase they automatically take the mailing address at the time the payment was approved.

There are members here who are part of the "FedEx club" - thus named because AdSense will FedEx checks to publishers who earn more than $10,000 per month.
