Adsense login really is messed up

especially if you have gmail/adwords accounts

I know, I know, Google would like me to have one single email address (gmail) and one single login and password for ALL Google services... but it's not practical for some of us.

Logging into Adsense now sometimes logs me out of other Google services and vice-versa. When logged into Adsense if I try to access my Adwords account I run into problems. Heck, I can't even access the Adwords login page (it sees that I'm already logged in to a Google service with an email address that's not the same as the one I use for Adwords and it asks me if I want to open an Adwords account with that email address)

Cross service login problems have been going on since er, the second service they launched. Shouldn't they have been fixed by now?

How many PhDs do they have again?

I got burned on this too. IMHO, the whole Google Account mechanism is seriously flawed.

I created a new GMail account, which AdSense automatically (without my confirmation) attached to my AdSense account. Once attached, it was impossible to detach from the Google Account page. The only solution was to delete the GMail account -- not an easy thing either. Luckily, the new GMail account was under my control, otherwise things would have been even more messy.

This has nothing to do with the fact that Google still seems to require different email addresses for different Google services, such as AdWords and AdSense. Definitely a pain.
