I realize that I could do something similar by using URL channels with subdirectories, but that would require a reorganization of my site. Instead, I want to be able to group together pages that are in any directory. That way, I can create all kinds of meaningful groups.
I hope I've explained this clearly. Is there any way to accomplish this. I think not, but I thought I would ask. The reason is that I have a particular topic (keyword) that garners more than its share of MFA ads, and I'd like to see if that topic performs as poorly as I think it does. I won't remove those pages (they are vital to my users), but I might remove Adsense from those pages (I may anyway, just to experiment).
Edit: My site has nothing to do with different countries. That was just the best way I could think of to describe what I want to do.
Click the AdSense Setup page and choose the appropriate product. After choosing your ad type, format, and colors, select up to five custom channels from the Channel list by clicking the add>> link. Then click Continue.
You may be able to achieve your goal by assigning multiple Custom channels to each of your ads, versus using URL channels. (Sounds like a lot of work though!)
Is that what you are after?

Yeah, that is kind of what I'm after, but not exactly. I'd like to be able to do it without modifying the Adsense code. I want to be able to define a group channel. It would be a "channel" that aggregates multiple URL channels (not ad blocks). The way that I envision it is this:
1) I create URL channels for every page on my site. I've only got about 100 pages, so I think that I could do this without exceeding the limits.
2) Then, I would create a "channel group" that would contain multiple URL channels. There would be no code for this on my site. It would simply be a way to aggregate the Adsense reporting. Think of it as a URL channel, but with several URLs together instead of just one.
I just realized (duh! - in my defense, I've only been at this for a couple of months) that I can sort of do this already, though it isn't at all automated. If I create the URL channels, then I can go to advanced reports and choose Channel Data. Now, select only the URL channels that I am interested in and group by channel. This will show me only the individual channels that I want. I can then save it as a custom report. This accomplishes almost exactly what I wanted. The only difference is that I would like to be able to have a report that shows the results of all of my channel groups (multiple reports combined, I guess).
Thanks guys, for getting me to look further into the options. I'm reasonably happy with this result.
