HI,
i have my own domain , i am currently in search of hosting my site. As soon as i decided a web hosting company, i would like to used adsense to generate some income in my site. But the problem is that my domain hosting company already using my domain for Google Adsense. I forgot to completely read their terms and condition before purchasing the domain. So now they are using my domain for Google adsense. Can i place my ads in same pages where my domain hosting company placing google adv.? Is it against the rules of adsense or not?
Thank You.

I guess it will be fine to put ads on the site in your account. I have two accounts on the one domain (one company account, one personal account) and google are fine with this. In your case only ads for your account will appear now that you own the domain.

If in doubt, fire off an email to Google. I did when I wanted to set up the second account and they replied in a day or so.

You cannot have ads from two AdSense accounts on the same page (one of you will get banned and it will be you). I even wonder what kind of deal you have that you own a domain and someone will put ads on it. Buddy, get a real domain, pay for hosting, and have total control over your domain if you want to run a real business.

Moreover, you want to check and make sure the hosting company doesn't forbid you from running ads on the site where they have an AdSense account.

mkasa,

You CAN have multiple accounts advertising on the same page. This option has been available for some time, but G does not actively advertise it, nor have their terms been updated to reflect this. Don't ask me why, I really don't know. Same rules apply regarding the number of ad units per page, of course. =D

[groups.google.com...]

Also, an email I received from AdSense support when I was looking into this in June:

<paraphrase>They do permit multiple publishers ad code on the same page.

They said that if a website is found in violation of their policies, they'll notify any publisher whose ad code is on the website, and ask that they each remove their Google code from that site.</paraphrase>

Hope that helps; sorry for the links but they're relevant.

Now, don't put your own adsense on the domain. Just put content which is in violation of all and any policies. Then complain to google.

But, the best option would always be to get your own domain name, as in example.com and begin from scratch there. Most people who have those "free blog/website/whatever" are most likely to begin monetizing the contents made by the users, at some point, and that's not lucrative, for you, if you want to earn money on what you create.

if the domain is parked on their servers, domain companies often put ads on the landing page.

look at the terms to see they mention what happens if you change nameservers to point the domain to your own webspace.

The domain name is so cheap. Why do you want to share with others? Get your own domain and hosting.
