Are there any tools which would allow to compare/analyze (using diagrams) different periods, channels, etc? Are you using MS Excel for this? Thanks!

Update: in the title, "visual" should have been "graphical".

The tools that Google provides are, simply put, mediocre. That's why I am using an Excel sheet.

I get every piece of data that Google provides to me and process it in an Excel sheet, complete with variance analysis (yep, revenue is still like throwing a single dice), charts for revenue, CTR, EPC, eCPM (do you REALLY want to SEE your downtrend?), year-on-year analysis (again, nothing to get excited about), and so on.

It would be really nice if they would pull the AdSense data into Google Analytics.

A fellow Swede has created a FF plugin that displays simple graphs based on your AdSense data using a Greasemonkey script. The graphs are quite simple but at least it's something :)

You can also try one of the several software stand-alone apps available.

Like our very own AdSenseLog (sorry) with graphs of all sorts and analyzing thingies
