Does Google allow the use of click tracking programs

I registered my sites with a program and put the code in (very similar to Google Analytics, only a small javascript tag at the bottom of the site is needed), and was surprised at its seemingly accurate ability to track ad clicks / ip addresses / the whole shebang.

During work today though, I was thinking. Does a service like this violate Google's ToS, and would they actually disable accounts for it? There is no adsense code being modified, but impressions and clicks are being recorded by a third party.

The reason I'd use this service is obvious, so that if I ever got bombed with "invalid clicks", I'd have some logs to appeal with, but there's no point in doing it if it would just get me disabled by doing so.

Thoughts?

Analytics tools are okay... some of the adsense trackers may stretch the T&Cs but have not heard of anyone losing their accounts over them
