I can't believe I'm the first one to mention this as I think it is incredibly poor usability from a company such as Google, but why is it that when we click on the "view all Referral products" link in the adsense main overview page, in order to check the impressions stats of our referrals, we have to actually download ALL the products from ALL categories in a text box list. It is a huge list! My Firefox almost hangs every time, asking me if I want to continue "running this script" or stop it, and it takes a good 10-15 seconds every time to load that page. It slows down my whole browser and I'm afraid it's going to crash at any time. It is almost unusable.

It doesn't make any sense to load all the referral programs! I do have high speed internet access, by the way. Have I configured something wrong on my account or is everyone just tolerating this? It makes me cringe every time I want to check that page, which I try to do avoid most of the time, evidently.

I'm not talking about the referrals section to find new programs (which has problems of its own but at least it's improving), I'm talking about the referrals "advanced report" statistic page to check your impressions, CTR, clicks, earnings, etc of the referral programs you're running. It is accessed from the main report page just after you logged in to adsense ("view all Referral products »")

I'm tolerating that report until I finally decide to dump referrals. It would be nice if you could choose to see only those referrals that got clicks and/or conversions.

Yes,its a problem.
Once I added a category instead of particular product and Now in reports it try to load that full category every time.

I will just leave it to load and after 1 minute it load until than firefox will freeze.

The referals are growing. I can see a very large trend of ecom site killing off their PPC campaigns to switch to PPA. That is a reason why your reading about the PPC declining.

trinorthlighting, what does it have to do with my question, outside of you cheerleading once again your favorite cause? Please bring that agenda of yours to another thread.

I agree with you, it is becoming way to big. Our reporting has become crazy as yours has for our publishing sites.

Google need to better categorize things to make the the reports load faster and make them easier to read.

Good suggestion would be drill down type of reporting.

How about writing to support complaining?

Because I want to know if others have that problem, not just me, I want others that have that problem to know I have it too, and I've noticed that problems discussed on this site seem to have a better chance of being heard than my isolated complaint (which I did send). I like when issues get documented on a site like this, I've browsed hundreds of such topics in the past and was happy to find them instead of calling tech support or else.

Sometimes you also just want to get the pulse from other webmasters.

I was trying the referrals today as well. What a pain in the rump system that is. Today, the darn things won't load at times saying server couldn't load data and to refresh page and then it works at times and others not. Darn thing, you click on one, dig in, don't like the garbage listed, click find more and it closes the list again so you have to dig back in. I felt like a dog chasing my tail, woof woof.

Yea, the reports are awful, but to be honest, I was holding off on complaining about that until they get the actual referral program working on a reasonable level.
