Adsense targets wrong geographical group

Even though my content is clear...

I have a site targetting people coming to Country A from Country B. It is very clear who the site is intended for and makes no mention of Country B whatsoever in any of my text.

All the Adsense Ads though target people moving to Country B and not Country A therefore nobody will ever click as the ads are irrelevent to my audience.

Any ideas? Shall I contact Adsense. I have tried blocking sites but other 'visit country b' ads keep streaming through!

Thanks

AdSense is not very good at geo targeting based on content. Ads served are based on subject and visitor IP. Geography is hardly part of the 'subject' as far as I can tell. This may partly be due to advertisers not being specific enough in their keywords. (Advertising 'widget city' for keyword 'widget', showing on a page about 'widget otherplace').

Yes, it will pick up specific non-geographic keywords, and show you ads based upon advertisers who have selected your geo-targeted area for those keywords.

You can download the AdSense tool that will allow you to see ads based on geotargeting, if you want to see the ads that those from other countries will see when visiting your page.
