How many per page again?

It used to be easy, no more than 3 per page

With PPA I've lost count again. I'll read the ToS to be sure but does anyone know the maxes off hand? It used to be 3 max per page and those were all PPC. Then came the link units, up to one on a page. Just recently it was raised to a max of 2 link units per page. Of course then there's the search box that I don't bother with.

It sounds like I've got a pretty busy page but I don't intend to hit all the maximums, I just want to make sure that between what's in my template and what's in my content I don't accidentally go over one of the limits.

See the program policies page [google.com]:

Quote:

  • Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.
  • A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
  • Up to three link units may also be placed on each page.
  • Up to three referral units may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above.
  • AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results.
  • No other ads may be displayed on your search results page.
  • No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed in a pop-up, pop-under, or in an email.
  • Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads.
  • No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages.
  • No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.

It is getting harder and harder to commit all this to memory! In fact, I'm going to print this portion and hang it next to my desk.

And repeat it every morning.

That is a good summary list, thanks for the pointer. I guess the note about search results pages only if you've made a customized search results page (CSE or Google Coop or something).
