Google announced on April 13, 2007 that it came to a definitive agreement to acquire DoubleClick for $3.1 billion in cash.

I would wait until Google uses DoubleClick ads within the AdSense site.

BTW - I always had an urge to click twice when I saw a DoubleClick Ad - LOL!

Goodwin: my understanding is that you can not "apply" for DoubleClick any more because they stopped being an ad broker. They only provide technology for ad serving now.
