If you have the google toolbar installed, check the PageRank bar and see if it's white or gray when you're visiting your own site. If it's gray, you're out.. if it's white you're still there, just far far behind in the serps.
But who am I, telling this to a prefered member? ;)
yeah it's a loooooong waiting game to get the site listed again
the site went live late 2005 and started making about $100pm by 2006, then i lost the site with a server crash
got the site live again around august last year (not a major priority), but heavy server load meant i had to take it down again after a few months
made it live again earlier this year - it got spidered, started making money, then just disappeared ........
the toolbar was pr5 in may - now all grey ........
there is some good news tho - it has traffic from yahoo and MSN (not much, but some) and is making a little bit of money - and googlebot has started spidering again ........
I had the same problem with my webshop a couple of years ago. 2 weeks after launching it, I was almost at the top of all serps, then suddenly, the site was GONE - for a loooong time. Sandboxed i guess. Now, about 2 years later, my site is listing nr 1 on google for most of my keywords. I don't recall if the PR Bar turned gray during the sandboxed-time though'
SEO** (Sorry don't remember your nick) When google sandboxes a site, it won't show up in the SERPS, often this happens with only a few (main) keywords. PR bar shows the importance of a site, seen with Googles eyes.
