I don't know if I should be posting this in the Adsense forum, or the javascript forum.

Three days ago i signed up for the Adsense program for my new website. I was approved, and ads appeared.

However, I can't see the ads when using IE5 for Mac. I can see them on other sites, though. I can also see them using Safari and Firefox for Mac, as well as IE7 for Windows.

Any ideas on what's causing this would be much appreciated.

IE for Mac is no longer supported.

MyNewPC, thanks for the reply. I already know that support is no longer available.

But the javascripts for other functions still work on IE5. Why wouldn't the simple javascript for Adsense?

I don't know what percentage of internet users still run IE5 on Mac, but I'm guessing that it's enough to warrant a question.

well, if you see them on your site with other browsers then I wouldn't worry too much.

If you can see AdSense ads on other sites with IE5 then something might be wrong with your code.

Though IE5 for Mac was junk when it was supported and has never worked even close to properly.

I have the same problem. I am still on OS 8.6, which works perfectly well, and I know I need to upgrade, but it's probably more like "buy a new computer" since my PowerBook G3 only has a 2Gig hard drive.

I can't see AdSense ads on any sites with IE5, so it's their code or browser or both, not us.

I never liked IE anyhow. I use Mozilla.
