hi all,

i'm new to adsense so please bear with me. there's something that doesn't seem to make sense.

when i run a report on the prior seven days of earnings, it's a smaller number than the earnings through the advanced report by aggregate data when i actually type in the date range. the nutty thing is when i run the advance report for the manually inputted seven day span and show with channel data on all channels, i get an even larger number. my question is which number should i go with since they are all different earnings numbers?

thanks

tkt

The smallest amount is the correct one :)

Go to Advansed Reports, select "Aggregate data" (right hand side), select date range and press "Display Report". I believe this will produce correct amount.

If you use "Channel data" instead of "Aggregate data" it may show another amount. This is because channels usually overlap, thus produce bigger amount.

Also note, there are separate sections on Advansed Reports page for Content/Search/Referrals. You'll have to add those 3 to see total amount.

Main adsense page includes all (Content/Search/Referrals).

Sometimes the reports are a little strange. And sometimes I think you don't get the real numbers until the next day or so. There are times when I've checked my account, and it will I've had some number of clicks that day, but when I check my month-to-date numbers in the advanced reports, I have a bunch more showing for that day.
