Today I noticed some 95 visitors in my logs from pagead2.googlesyndicaton.com

Why?!

Does this mean that someone else is advertising my site in adwords? and ads for my site are appearing in other sites?

The URLs I see are like

I can see those long pagead2.googlesyndication... urls which I cant paste here, and the their are different pub-ids in all lines.

What is going on!

another wanderingmind setup their adwords campaign landing page wrong, a typo, enjoy but notify support to be on the safe side.

:) thanks Hobbs! In this case which support do I email - adsense support or adwords support?!

Also, the ids in the urls are not the same, I can see the pub-ids but there are several. And they are all landing up on a deep page in the site.

The email I would use is adsense-support@google.com
since you say you are not an advertiser, the adsense guys are the ones with access to your account.

>landing up on a deep page

Now that excludes the typo theory
make sure to include all those pub ids in your email
sounds more like a system glitch and they will need to reimburse the advertisers for those clicks.

it's not anything to do with their 'link ads' is it? i'm just guessing. but when you click on a link ad it takes you to a page full of related sites.
maybe some of the sites on the page are not advertisers.
