One of my own adwords ads is showing up in the adsense block on the page it links to. What's up with that?

You need to filter yourself one or both sides of AS/AW, ie filter your AW campaign not to show on your site and/or add your site to your AS filters so your AW campaigns won't be shown there.
My sites have been in my AS filters since day 1.

I've seen my ads show up on the same site before, and in some cases been ok with it. this same page stuff is new to me and brings it to new levels. I just assumed G would be smarter than this.
