Impressions & Ad Link units?

Has Google changed how they are counted?

Has anyone noticed a change in how impressions are counted for Ad Link units?

(An impression is counted when a visitor visits a page where a Link unit is displayed vs. an impression is counted only when a visitor clicks one of the link titles and lands on the page of ads)

If you use different channels for ad unit and link unit you can view impression when some one visit site having link unit . But if your site has ad unit and link unit total impression will not be double only single ....
Clicks on link unit is not required for impression

One thing that changed quite a few months ago is Adlink impressions shown in a custom channel will also show up in a URL channel for the page where the Adlink unit impression occurred.

It used to be that Adlink unit impressions were never reported in URL Channels.

Early in the morning PDT if you compare your impressions for a custom channel for an adlink unit, you may be able to correlate them exactly to data in a URL channel.

Hope that makes sense.
