All of the publisher complaints and gripes about the optimization messages must have influenced Google to modify the script. It now hides the messages.

This lets you guys (and gals) know that Google reads these forums and listens. But it doesn't mean that complaining is the best course of action. :)

I just wish they'd move it off of the overview page or put it at the bottom of the page. It is simply in the way where it is. Although it hides the messages now it takes a considerable length of time for it to whirl and twirl before stating that there are no new messages.
