Not getting paid for clicks?

I'm sorry if this questions has already been answered, I searched the site and found nothing so here goes:
I built a site for my dad and put adsense on it to see if he could make a little money. He is a stickler for testing every single link and didnt exactly grasp the concept of adsense and clicked on 2 of those. I read on this board that it has happened to other people and they sent google a message telling them what happened and it was resolved, so thats what I did. Since then, we have been getting legit clicks on adsense (according to the adsense report) and have not been getting paid for them (again, according to the adsense report). It shows that we have clicks, what our clickthrough rate is, but we have $0.00 for CPM and $0.00 for earnings.

Will it take some time for us to get paid for clicks? Is this normal when you first setup an account?

I presume AdSense counts clicks on PSAs as clicks, so you could well see clicks and no earnings if your visitors are clicking on PSAs.

I don't get many PSAs on my website but I have seen examples of clicks being recorded with $0.00 earnings (I can tell by looking at categories for pages with very little traffic, where I might only get one click on any one day, so it's easy to see how much that click earned!)
