Do you get paid when you get 100,000 impressions?

I'm confused.

I've heard people say you get money when you reach 100,000 page impressions. Does that mean you get money when you get that much or are they paying you as you go? (Sorry this might be a little confusing lol)

You get paid once your account balance reaches $100 (i.e. one hundred US Dollars). That amount can be reached either through:

- the Adsense's classical pay-per-click program
- the CPM program (where you get paid for impressions)
- the referral program (where you get paid for successul referrals of Google products)

The payout varies for each program, and people can only guess about the money you might make from your site(s).

I wonder if Lysandra90 is referring to eCPM?

If so, you are paid as you go... not only when you reach 1000 ad impressions.

Just to clarify what everyone's saying, you'll be eligible to receive a payment when your account balance reaches USD $100.

Earnings do accrue in your account over time, but actual payments are made on a monthly cycle, and only for accounts that have accrued at least $100.

Detailed payment schedule:

And in case there's any confusion about "earnings" vs. "payments":

Thanks ASA,
I wish you would also answer some other more serious questions but for whatever reason you are staying away from many hot topics.

Thanks for your help anyway :-)
