Anybody get an Adsense Questionnaire over the last couple of days? Cannot find any topics on it in here. Some interesting questions in it and a good chance to give some feedback to the adsense team

I filled it in yesterday. I'd be interested to know what suggestions people made for improvements to AdSense.

What I'd most like to see is having the restrictions lifted on displaying competing ads on the same pages as AdSense.

If I can get a better eCPM from combining an AdSense leaderboard with a skyscraper from a competitor, why should I be prevented from implementing that combination?

yeah got mine this morning and filled it in about an hour ago.

Wherever I could I asked them to allow a minimum bid for site targeted ads, I get a lot and the eCPM is laughable, then further on into the questionair I got to the page about site targeted ads, made the same comment there and also set 'picking advertisers' as second choice.

I suggested better protection against click fraud for publishers (so we don't get our accounts banned through no fault of our own).

Interesting Barns101 as I did the same, also made the point that all accounts should list the domains they own and use with adsense, then any other domains displaying ads with your account number would then be blocked.

Yes, I made that suggestion as well!

I made the suggestion that they finally try to solve a problem I have on one site that the same ad can appear in multiple ad blocks on the same page. This is against the TOS, but not my fault. I have informed them of the problem more than a year ago, sent them screenshots, they reviewed the HTML code and admitted the problem exists, but until now about 15% of the time my top and bottom ad blocks contain one or more identical ads. Very annoying and not really helping CTR or user experience.

The questionnaire didn't tell me that I could win the iPod, but Google's inviting email did :)

I found it odd that one of their suggested improvements you could vote on being 'use adsense earnings to fund adwords campaigns' or something to that effect, given the recent arbitrage site issues. I guess you could use your earnings from one site to advertise for another.

I suggested they should have a listing of the top ads being clicked on for a period, and generally better reporting. Such as excel .xls templates with graphs etc of your data and tools to keep it up to date.

I think that using AdSense earnings to pay for AdWords campaigns is a great idea and has been suggested on this forum a few times before.

A couple of my sites make money solely from AdSense but they are neither MFAs nor do they take advantage of click arbitrage (I don't even use AdWords). I would be interested in using 10% (for example) of my AdSense earnings to drive more traffic to the websites through AdWords and see what effect that had on my overall AdSense income. Even if the income decreased it would mean greater exposure for my websites and I could consider charging for advertising due to increased readership etc...

I didn't get the survey, so thank you for submitting this to them! I have had the same problem for at least a year too. I think it occurs beause of using ad-regions becuase it started shortly after I started adding them.
