Using content to different URL's

content distribution over two different urls

I was wondering if I can use same content over two different url's that cater to a completely different audience.

For example: I have a 'widget community in x city' website - and I want to have a seperate section of 'x city' - like about the city, tourist spots etc..

And then i thought why not have a seperate website with a completely different URL for 'x city' - with just the city information - nothing related to 'widget community' whatsover - and this 2nd site will attract users who are specifically searching for 'x city'

And they will not be inter-linked (no link exchange between them)

Now, I am in a dilema whether doing the above will violate the adsense terms - infact, I host the two url's with the same hosting company and these two url's will use same database (which ofcourse I don't think google will know - coz, they are both called "localhost" - in application.dataconn in ASP pages)

Anyways - can anyone shed some light into this?

Thank you in advance.

Ps: the title should have been 'using content over two different url's' - i don't know how to edit it

You can do it, it depends on your content though, displaying the same sentences or paragraphs is just going to get you a duplicated content penalty.

If the content allows you to split portions so niether site has the same then it should work.

Thank you! wheelie34 - I guess I can do that - I will just rewrite the sentences.
