Dear All,

I hear somewhere that if your Page CTR is TOO high, Google will take a look around the site, and the possibility of getting "out of the game" is ALSO HIGH.

uhm, it is my case, my CTR is doubled (over 11%), earning is doubled after I change my website interface and content, it is more useful and easy to navigate around the site.

I am wondering whether it is true or not that Google does not like "High CTR".

Any idea?

I think it has been said many times on the forum that if your site/visitors/intention is legit, you really donot have to worry.

BTW 11% is not really such a high CTR that you need to worry. Many publishers have higher (or lower) CTR's on many channels. Some of my channels have a CTR below 4% and some have above 30% consistently.

I worry only if CTR goes up abnormally high(er than average). Last time this happened, I wrote to G and received a donot worry mail.

Also, if you are worried that G will take a look around your site and find some problems, pls correct those issues immediately. No need to really take a risk. And wait for Google to tell you to fix issues. TOS should be strictly followed in spirit and effect. This helps reduce risks to acceptable levels.

I've had a site with over 60% CTR for over a year and never had a warning from Google. You can have high CTR and stay within TOS rules. I never really thought I was breaking the TOS, although I know I'm aggressive. If you have any doubts, just ask G if your layout is acceptable; G always answers.

Thank you all, today my earnings are tripled, so happy. I now have nothing to worry coz I am sure that I do not go against the Adsense TOS. I have emailed Google many times about my site, and have them to check my site whether there is anything wrong. Great thks to Google support team.
