So I had this one site banned from adsense although I fixed the stuff that google complained about..
I'd like to just mirror the site to a new domain and 301 everything there so I can display AdSense on the content again.. do you think that would be ok?
Does AdSense even track where the traffic is coming from?

I think site will be banned again.

Similar topic was posted here some time ago. You would better inform Google you fixed it. Maybe that will change their mind.

if you redirect it, as you said in the title, you'll probably get caught

If you were an illegal immigrant, would you ask Immigration to check your forged documents for you?

But less seriously, it sounds like scammer suicide to me. ;)

Google tracks it and yes -- you will likely be banned again.

If you have fixed the problems - write to adsense and ask them to re-review the site. If all is OK the ban will be lifted.

So I had this one site banned from adsense...

Do you mean your account was banned? Or just this one site?

I don't ever remember anyone here reporting that just one of their sites was banned. It sounds like you are running two (or more) accounts. This will inevitably cause you more problems.

Recently - both in here, and in other places, I have read about sites being banned - as opposed to the whole account. I've never heard about this before - but it is definately the case these days. I believe the difference may be that if you have not caused fraudulent clicks - but more have an issue over perhaps ad placement etc, then instead of banning the whole account - they suspend ads on the offending page.

I had a site banned.

One of my 'fan club' (NOT) copied my code to a clone site, with the added text "please click on my ads"; Google suspended ads on that site, and my original site that the code was on (ie all pages using that channel, I guess).

Google were kind enough to tell me, and we were able to sort out the spiteful little trick within hours.

But yes, you can be suspended on just one site.

It was at that point that I offered to give a list of all the domains on which I placed Adsense, to prevent such a thing recurring - but was advised that there was no way to do this at this time.

This request has been aired here a number of times over the years. It is long overdue.

As for the banning of one site - you learn something new every day - thanks.
