I run a site with celebrity news. Basically I just update on the cast of a really big show on MTV. So I guess you would call it an entertainment site? I am about to start using adsense (I signed up, I'm just waiting for google to email me back.) This is my first time using a stat counter so I'm not really sure how many people come to my site each day. It's 11:00 am right now and I have 733 page views and 587 unique visitors so far. Traffic is pretty steady throughout the day except around the time school gets out there are a a lot more people visiting. I have two ads at the top of my site on blogspot.

I'm really confused about how you make money here. Can anybody explain this to me? Also, does anybody have any idea how much earning potential my site has? I have a few affiliates but do you know how I can get more traffic to my site?

There are just too many variables between sites to predict anything about what you might earn or how to best set up your AdSense ads.

Just jump in and get started. You can watch your AdSense stats and will be able tell which ads units do well and which ad placements do wwll. As you learn you will be trying different combinations. So it will take some time to adjust things.
