On my Invision message board, I'm about to make a new topic to ask for donations. Is it ok to mention that there will be a skin without ads only for the members whom donate on a monthly basis?
That will be the only line with a reference to advertisements. Thanks in advance. :)

That sounds fine - theres certainly no encouragement for your visitors to click the ads in that :) But, the old rule applies - if in doubt, send the exact wording you are planning to use to Adsense for their review and wait for their frustratingly generic answer.

Yes its perfectly fine as per what you are saying , also you can always start paid membership and dont show up ads over there also instead of donation types
